“Stunning Wiltshire” Photo Walk

Johnny will guide you photographically and physically along this most incredible of walks around the landscape and lake that surround the Fonthill Estate. It is simply one of the most picturesque parts of inland Britain; full of history and beauty in equal measure. The views are a delight. Photographic advice will help you make the most of the morning and ensure you capture the stunning scenery to best effect. By the end, you’ll have learnt new techniques; improved compositions; and understood light better.

We’ll meet at 9am, and start and finish at the Beckford Arms Pub (one of the nicest in the west). The walk is 6 miles and takes 4 hours at a reasonably gentle pace. It’s not too hilly or difficult, and there are only a couple of places where we need to walk on a road – it really is a fabulous country walk. At just over 2 miles in to the walk, we will stop for refreshments at the Bird & Carter Cafe. WonderfuI for coffee – or a bacon sandwich! Once the walk is complete, we can grab a refreshing drink at the Beckford Arms, or if you want to stay for lunch, then a table is already booked – it is a very popular Sunday lunch haunt. The price covers the guiding and photographic advice from Johnny. All refreshments and lunch are at your own expense.
