A Really Exciting Change for Nepal 2016!

Very exciting news! This is our fourth year running this very popular workshop in Nepal…..BUT….Following a request for images of the earthquake villages; from the Gurkha Welfare Trust, I have changed the usual programme.  This year we will be heading up to Barpak – where the epicentre of the devastating earthquake happened in April 2015.  So photoJourney will be there from 10 – 17 April 2016.  This is going to be quite different; but a brilliant opportunity.  It’s going to be a little more adventurous, but it’s going to be an amazing and unique visit!  Barpak is an incredible village full of amazing characters – and in many respects is a true representation of proper Nepal – real people living a subsistence life in the middle hills, with incredible views of the high Himalayas!  You won’t find tourists here – but it’s such a super location – dramatic, vibrant and stunningly beautiful!

Have a look at the programme here: http://www.photojourney.co.uk/workshops/nepal/ and sign up!  We can only take an absolute maximum of 6, and one place has already gone (to a female photographer who has done one of Johnny’s 1-2-1 courses (thanks Dale!))

Because of the change, and because there will be nights in tents – the price is just £700.  I have a feeling these will go pretty quickly….

It’s going to be fascinating to see the changes in the year since the earthquake!
